Pentland Ferries is conducting an Orkney-wide survey to better understand the needs of the travelling public. All households across the islands will start receiving details in a mail drop from Monday (6 February) with details of how to participate online or by post.
Managing director of Pentland Ferries, Helen Inkster, said: “It is important for us to know that we are meeting islanders’ expectations now and also as we plan for the future.
“We want to hear people’s views on what they feel is most important in terms of service: what they feel we are doing well, what we could do better, and what their aspirations might be in the longer term.
“We cannot over-estimate the value of good transport links to Orkney and, as such, we need to make sure that islanders have their say in how it is shaped for the future.”
The survey is open to anyone (16 years and over) and can be completed online at www.pentlandferries.co.uk/survey. For those without online access, a copy of the form will be issued on request, by post, with a stamp addressed envelope for return. The final return date is 20 March 2023.
