Terms and conditions: Tickets will be sent to the winner digitally 5-7 days before the festival. Each ticket includes weekend festival access (Thurs-Sat) and camping. Tickets are valid for the 2026 event only and are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and have no monetary value. Guardianship policy applies (Under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible guardian 25+). Upgrades such as car parking, public transport, glamping and Club Clan Bella are not included. Upgrades and additional tickets can be purchased from the website.

21 year old Highland Park

Deliciously fruity and deep, the 2024 release of Highland Park 21 is crafted from just 48 casks – 25 first-fill, sherry-seasoned American oak quarter casks, 15 refill butts and 8 first-fill, sherry-seasoned European hogsheads – all hand-selected and laid down in 2001 and 2002.

LIVE AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to participation in the live auction (the “Auction”) conducted by Pentland Ferries on behalf of the Scottish Shipping Benevolent Association and the Sailors’ Orphan Society of Scotland at Pentland 25th Anniversary Gala on 9.05.2026. By bidding in the Auction, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Eligibility

All bidders must be aged 18 or over and capable of entering into legally binding contracts.


2. Bidding

2.1 Each bid constitutes an irrevocable offer to purchase the relevant lot at the bid price.
2.2 The highest bid accepted by the auctioneer at the close of bidding for a lot shall constitute a legally binding contract between the bidder and Pentland Ferries.
2.3 The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid, withdraw any lot, or resolve any dispute at their absolute discretion. The auctioneer’s decision is final.


3. Payment

3.1 All successful bidders are required to make full payment on the night of the Auction, prior to leaving the event.
3.2 Accepted payment methods: card.
3.3 Title to and, where applicable, risk in the lot shall pass to the winning bidder upon receipt of full payment.
3.4 If payment is not made as required, Pentland Ferries reserves the right to cancel the sale and offer the lot to the next highest bidder or otherwise dispose of it at its discretion.


4. Lots

4.1 All lots are sold “as is” and without warranty of any kind.
4.2 Descriptions and images are provided in good faith but Pentland Ferries makes no representations or warranties as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose.
4.3 Lots may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by third-party providers (e.g. experience providers), including availability, date restrictions, or expiry dates.
4.4 It is the bidder’s responsibility to review all information relating to a lot before bidding.


5. No Refunds or Exchanges

5.1 All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be permitted.
5.2 If a lot cannot be fulfilled for reasons beyond Pentland Ferries’ control, Pentland Ferries reserves the right to substitute the lot with an alternative of equivalent value where possible, but shall not be obliged to provide a refund.


6. Collection and Delivery

6.1 Successful bidders must collect their lot on the night unless otherwise agreed.
6.2 Where collection is not possible, arrangements will be made with Pentland Ferries. Any additional costs (e.g. postage, travel, accommodation) are the responsibility of the winning bidder unless otherwise stated.


7. Liability

7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pentland Ferries shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Auction or use of any lot.
7.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.


8. Data Protection

9. Gift Aid

Where applicable, any eligible donation element of your payment may be treated as a Gift Aid donation. By agreeing to Gift Aid, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and understand the relevant conditions.


10. General

10.1 Pentland Ferries reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time prior to the Auction.
10.2 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
