25th Photo Competition – Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions:

By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to follow these terms and conditions.

Promotion period:

The prize draw will run from 13th March 2026 until 12.00pm BST on 19th April 2026. All entries must be submitted via email to pentland25@pentlandferries.co.uk by the deadline, entries submitted after this deadline will not be accepted into the draw.

Eligibility:

  • No purchase is necessary
  • Only one entry per person
  • Pentland Ferries reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it believes have been submitted using automated systems, multiple accounts or any other method designed to unfairly increase the number of entries.

Photo usage:

By entering this competition and submitting photo(s), entrants confirm that they own the rights to the images submitted and grant Pentland Ferries permission to use these images across Pentland Ferries’ marketing channels, including but not limited to our website, social media platforms and promotional materials, as part of our 25-year celebrations and related promotional activity. Entrants must ensure they have permission from any identifiable individuals appearing in the submitted photos.

How to enter:

To enter the prize draw, entrants must submit a photo from their sailing with Pentland Ferries via email to pentland25@pentlandferries.co.uk.
Entrants may submit multiple photos, however only one entry per person will be included in the prize draw.

Winner selection:

  • One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.
  • The winner will be notified via email by 20th April 2026.
  • If the winner does not respond by 9:00am on 27th April 2026, Pentland Ferries reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
  • Once the winner has confirmed their prize we will announce this on social media.

The prize:

  • The prize consists of one return trip from Gills Bay to St Margaret’s Hope, for two adults with a car.
  • No cash alternative is available.
  • The prize must be used by 31 March 2027 and is subject to availability, is non-transferable or refundable.
  • The winner may add additional passengers to the booking at their own expense.

Pentland Ferries reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
